Going to be More Thorough With Blogging

More often than not, I find dull periods during which IZ:TDM! just doesn't have much being turned in (this is usually during weekdays). To remedy this, I find my mind constantly wandering around, trying to come up with new story ideas, and usually falling blank thanks to my utter disillusionment with modern storytelling as a whole. More than that, though, I just can't seem to come up with stuff!
A major flaw I have is that I can't seem to find a theme to start with. Themes need to be established way before the story is even prepped or planned. But I can't seem to come up with a theme lately. It needs to be something I feel passionate about, something I feel definitely concerned with, something I want to say, darn it! But I can't think of what at the moment. My mind's just a foggy mess.
So, I think that by blogging at least once a day, I will be able to explore and find out what makes me tick. What is it that I care deeply about? What moves me? Because - once I find out that - I'll have a good start on getting a theme going.
