Really, I've been working on this project for five years, and I'm just now getting my VA's to record voices and the concept art is approaching the HALFWAY mark. That's not very motivating, heheh. But, at the same time, it's nice to know progress is being made, albeit slowly.
So, here's to hoping I can stay on schedule. I'm wanting the rough animatic done and ready by the end of this year. Whoooo boy, that'll be a tall order in and of itself. I hope I can find people to help in that area, people who know their stuff when it comes to camera angles and making them wonky and unique, as Invader ZIM's known for. We seriously need to emulate the show's style, and a major factor in that is the camera and all the weird perspectives and stylized movements it makes.
All that, and I still don't know if the concept art will be done by this year's end, but it darn well better be. I'm slowly going insane, I'm sure of it.
