Potential Voice Actor/Actress:
Thank you for considering trying out for the upcoming Invader Zim fan film entitled "Invader ZIM: The DOOM Movie!" This film is entirely fan-made, and will be of professional-level quality (or, at least, Soapy-Waffles level quality). Currently, it needs your help!
I need voice actors and actresses to audition for this movie. Please take some time to review the list below and read all the requirements at the bottom.

Oh, one more thing - All voices are due by February 28th, 2013! I have extended the deadline to (hopefully) involve more people in this project.
Key:
(possible) means that the roles are still open and that nothing's set in stone.
[not taken] means that nobody's been considered for that role.
You may try out for anything that is bolded.

Clicking on an underlined name will take you to a PDF document with the character's part(s), taken directly from the script.

The three control brains responsible for the judgement and processing of Defectives. Scary. Intimidating. Strict. They only have lines in one scene.

A poor little defective whose judgement is what the film opens with, to help set the story. Wimpy. Nasally. Cute*. Only has lines in one scene.

A defective wannabe revolutionary with a Scottish accent, who tries time and time again to lead the defectives in a revolt (and fails each time). Passionate. Foolish. Delusional. Is a minor character who has lines throughout the film.

A defective who is close friends with Merp, and constantly points out to her the futility of her dreams. Calm. Laid Back. Easygoing. Appears in two scenes.

One of the Irken guards whose incompetence leads to Smoots escaping and setting (part of) the plot in motion. Idiotic. High-Strung. Constantly beat up. Appears with Bob throughout the movie.

Larry's shorter companion, who is equally responsible for Smoots's escape from Defective Area 9. Dumb. Stressed. Easily pushed over. Appears with Larry throughout the movie.

A radio control person who contacts Larry and Bob following Smoots's escape and (lazily) questions them about it before shrugging the matter off. Goofy. Unusually happy. Easily fooled. Only appears in one scene.

One of the Irken Empire's figureheads, who is first seen celebrating with his co-ruler over their universal conquest. Upon feeling bored with having taken over the whole universe, he hatches a plan with Purple to go visit Zim and reveal that he's not an invader, just for laughs. Intelligent. Glutenous. Silly. Appears with Purple throughout the movie.

Red's co-figurehead of the Irken Empire, Purple is the more silly of the duo. Mostly, he just snacks and goes along with whatever Red says. Granted, though, the idea of blowing Zim's cover was his idea in the first place. Apathetic. Glutenous. Silly. Appears with Red throughout the movie.

An Irken security guard stationed on Meekrob following its conquest**, he is responsible for having imprisoned the Resisty leaders and decides to quickly report in to the Tallest to let them (and, by extension, the audience) know what's happening down on the surface of the planet. Militant. Obediant. Loyal. Only appears in one scene.

The leader of the Resisty, a rebellion whose sole goal is to take down the Irken Empire. Too bad their not doing a very good job, though. When we first see him, he's been captured by the Irkens as a prisoner of war, and threatens to break free and attack. Of course, he's promptly tazed and then thrown in his holding cell. There's no way the Resisty will break out and head to Irk, right? Right? Short-tempered. Determined. High-strung. Appears throughout the movie.

An Irken Invader whose infiltration and subsequent exposition of weaknesses lead to Meekrob's downfall. She's been through a nightmare, and is happy to have finally emerged triumphant and received an award for her efforts. Militant. Determined. Easily stressed. Appears once at the beginning of the movie, and a few times during the climax of the film.

A neurotic, insane, arrogant, narcissistic, defective Irken whom the Tallest hate with a passion. Zim, after causing wanton destruction and chaos to the Irken Empire on multiple occasions, and after "quitting" his banishment when he found out that the Irkens were going to conquer the Universe, was sent to a far far far away planet (Earth) on a secret (out-of-the-Tallest's-hair) mission (banishment) with a high-tech (piece of crud) robot to assist him. He's determined to prove to the Tallest that he's awesome, but when they blow his cover and reveal his mission as a fake, he feels that somethingmust be mind-controlling them, and it's up to him to stop whatever it is! Evil. Maniacal. Narcissistic. Appears throughout the entire movie, as he is the main character.

An escaped defective who, for some reason, is completely obsessed with Zim, who has never met her before, has no clue what she's doing on Earth, and really really really hates her. Irritating. Stupid. Clingy. Appears throughout the film, and meets a horrible demise at the end***

Zim's robotic companion who is here to help him conquer Earth. The only problem is, since he was thrown together by the Tallest out of pieces of junk at the last minute, he's less "helpful" and more of a "walking disaster." Insane. Cute. Childish. Appears throughout the film.

Since a full-grown Irken is about the size of a Human child, Zim created two roboparents, Robomom and Robodad, to help Zim keep up appearances as a "normal, green, Human boy." Unfortunately, they take their job a bit too seriously at times. Idiotic. Malfunctioning. Deranged. Appear once or twice throughout the whole movie.

Zim's home-base's A.I. program who is here to obey Zim and do as he says. Fortunately, his program permits sarcasm and back-sassing. Of course, if you were suddenly forced to turn into a space-ship and fly to Irk, you'd be a bit annoyed, too. Sarcastic. Lazy. Cynical. Appears throughout the first half of the film and at the end of the movie.

A human cop who investigates a U.F.O. crash and is angry at his partner for leading him to a place where nothing is. Angry. Mean. Jerk-ish. Only appears in one scene.

Pilots on-board the Massive, the Irken Empire's capital ship. Obey the Tallest and inform them of incoming transmissions or danger. Obedient. Loyal. Militant.

An eleven-year old paranormal fanatic who is one of the only humans with the knowledge that Zim is an alien. He's sworn to defend Earth against Zim and all that Zim does, and is constantly trying to foil his schemes, expose him to the public, and point out the flaws in Zim's reasoning. When Smoots lands on earth, the Tallest blow Zim's cover, and Zim decides to head off to Irk, Dib decides to tag along, claiming it's to "help Zim, since this doesn't involve blowing up Earth or anything." In reality, he's hoping to find a way to do the same thing to Irk... Deceptive. Nerdy. Irritable. Appears throughout the film.

During the only scene that takes place in Skool, this robot is a substitute teacher. Robotic. Unfeeling. Mechanical. It explodes at the end of its only scene.

Dib's younger sister who is a true gamer. She knows that Zim's an alien too, but since "he's so bad at" destroying the Earth, she really doesn't give a crud. She winds up tagging along with Dib because "there's nothing better to do." Gothic. Sarcastic. Irritable.

The father of Dib and Gaz, Professor Membrane is the world's best scientist. He loathes Dib's obsession with the paranormal and longs for him to study "real science" instead. When the Tallest land on Earth and expose Zim as an Irken, Professor Membrane can't take the thought, and promptly runs downstairs to have a mental breakdown. Arrogant. Logical. Wacky.

A Human news reporter who covers the story of the aliens landing on Earth. Cheesy. High-strung. Excitable. Appears in three scenes.

Humans in the crowd who seem to point out the obvious. Only appear in one scene.

Thought the Tallest were in control of the Irken Empire? You're wrong. The Master Control Brain is the secret ruler of all the Irkens and all the other control brains, and is the villain of the story. Word has reached him that a defective has escaped and that the Tallest blew Zim's cover, revealing the Irken's existence to an alien race (humans). A stupid, harmless alien race, but an alien race nonetheless. He threatens them with a fate worse than death if any more incidents occur. Evil. Intelligent. Darth-Vader-ish. Appears throughout the movie.

An Irken Invader who is constantly beat up, pushed over, and stepped on. When we first find him, he's left stranded on a desert planet, far from any help. Suddenly, a space-ship crash-lands near him. When he investigates the crash, he is promptly hypnotized and forced into working for this mysterious alien. Easily beat-up. Naive. Easily freaked out.

A guard operating a both of the toll ring around planet Irk. When Zim flies up to him, with Dib and Gaz in cruddy Irken disguises, he doesn't hesitate to cheerfuly let them through security after (accidentally) revealing to Zim (who he doesn't realize is Zim) the fact that the Tallest actually do hate him. As a consequence, he's probably doomed Irk even more than before. Idiotic. Naive. Cheerful. Appears in two scenes.

The mysterious alien who has taken control of Skoodge. Tak is an Irken bent on one thing and one thing only: killing Zim. After failing to take over the Earth (which she believes is rightfully hers to take over) and after getting sent flying into the cold void of space by Zim, she's back and ready to do whatever it takes to make Zim pay! Psychotic. Sadistic. Evil. Appears throughout the second half or so of the film.

The Resisty's second-in-command who doesn't really do much other than be goofy. Yeah, that's about it. Goofy. Impulsive. Cheesy. Appears in a handful of scenes towards the second half of the film.

The Resisty's third-in-command who doesn't really do much other than suggest terrible ideas. Yeah, that's about it. Impulsive. Idiotic. Easily freaked out. Appears in a handful of scenes towards the second half of the film.

A random defective who nearly gives Zim a heart attack as he happily tells him some terrible news. Naive. Idiotic. Cheerful. Appears in only two or three scenes.

Miscellaneous Irken extras who ask the questions that the audience asks at the right time. Appear in the last parts of the movie.

A sarcastic, grumpy defective who complains a lot. Sarcastic. Grumpy. Frightful. Only in one scene.

An extra Resisty member there to provide information about stuff. Appears in only one scene, I believe.

The Resisty Team commanders. Since their army is so big, they have to have all these different commanders. They all appear in one scene, and each only has one line.

The sole survivor of a Resisty attack, who informs the Tallest of the oncoming invasion. Appears in one scene.

An extra who lets the Tallest know of an incoming transmisson... which turns out to be Lard Nar, here to gloat about the Resisty's oncoming invasion! Only appears in one scene. Only has one line.

Has only two lines. Only appears in the climax. Not intelligent, just a computer.

Resisty extra. Kindly points out to Smoots (who has been captured by the Resisty) where the Shrinky-self destruct button is. THIS CAN ONLY END WELL. Only has two or three lines. Only appears in one scene.
If you want to voice act for any of these characters, here's what you must do:
1. Record your voice tryout (preferably) on the mic you plan to use for the final recording.
2. Send your tryout audio to invaderzimtdm@gmail.com with the subject line reading: VOICE TRYOUT - [YOUR NAME HERE] - [CHARACTER(S) YOU'RE TRYING OUT FOR HERE].
For example, if I were to try out for Red, I'd type this in the message's subject line: VOICE TRYOUT - STANLEY ORR - RED
3. I'll get back with you and will tell you whether you got it/didn't get it/might get it with improvement.
4. If you get the part (or get close to getting it), I will send you a recording of me doing all of the lines for your character(s), so you have an idea of what they sound like in my head.
5. In addition to that recording, I will send you two other things: A full-length script, and a script with only the pages that contain your parts****</B>
I will update this list as needed, adding Character scripts and icons of those who get the parts as needed in the description. Any questions may be asked here or sent to invaderzimtdm@gmail.com.
Thank you for reading this and considering trying out for a part.
Sincerely,
Stanley Orr
P.S. Here's a tip: Don't be afraid to yell when the part calls for it. By this, I mean that you should yell if you need to, and not "fake yell" at times. Microphone static is better than fake yelling, trust me.
*Note: This is what I've been told by many girls who have heard my recordings of him.

**Note: Sorry if you wanted to see Meekrob taken over, but that would've taken up way too much time. It's just implied in the second scene that this is what has recently happened. On the bright side, though, the Tallest show a slide-show which has photos from the conquest!

***Note: She will be trapped in the Resisty's imploding space-ship. Will any tears be shed? No. No they won't.
****Note: This may mean that I have to send you multiple e-mails with multiple recordings and multiple scripts, depending on how many you try out for and how close you are to many of them.
