Current Info for IZTDM

     Currently, the project has reached a near-standstill due to me entering my senior year in High school. HOWEVER, production is NOT cancelled or on hiatus! It is simply toned down in comparison to its summer busy-ness, so to speak. So... ...what's happening now?

1. The Script is Being Re-Written

     It has come to my attention, through reflection on the script and the direction the show was heading, that Smoots has way too much importance in the film. This is a film about ZIM and his horrible demise, not SMOOTS and her much-deserved demise! So the script is being re-vamped to include:

• No back story for Smoots - she just appears out of nowhere and knows Zim in a creepy, stalker-ish way. No back story for her means less attention paid to her. Which is better.
  
• Quicker Cuts and Less Dialogue - This will give the movie more of a Zim-like feel. The dialogue is being toned down, since I feel it's too realistic for the movie. It won't be dummied into complete idiocy, however. It's just going to be reduced to "zim-level" idiocy, which is the thing we all love about the show's dialogue! :)
  
• A Horrible Ending for Everyone - Jhonen clearly wanted a dark ending to the series, and I feel that my ending is too happy. I will change this. Let's just say that, by the end of this, everyone is doomed. EVERYONE. (except, maybe, for Gaz. She's kinda immune to this kinda thing.

2. Concept Artists are Still Wanted...

     ...and HOW! Lemme put it into perspective: I. Need. To. Know. What. I. Am. Storyboarding. As it is, the kind people of DeviantArt have provided me with three or four solid artists, but I think I'm gonna need two or three more. Once I've gathered my slaves- I mean, assistants... -I will assign them to certain tasks based on a concept art list I will have compiled. This list will include concept art for locations, props, characters, ships, etc.

3. Voice Actors are Being Gathered.

     *sigh*... Don't ask me about this. Really. Just don't. I have enough to do as is. For now, just know that I will be asking for them if I want them. Right now, though, that isn't a priority.

     In conclusion, I am re-vamping the script so I can get concept art for now. Gotta go! Bye! :D
